Fly Interzone & Geronimo’s FGT presenterar: KUUNATIC (JP) + support FARIDA

KUUNATIC was formed in Tokyo in 2016, by 3 women whith very different musical and cultural backgrounds. Their first EP KUURANDIA was released in December 2017 and integrates traditional Japanese music, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, dub music and horror film soundtrack music etc. They combine primitive drumming, driving bass lines and atmospheric keyboard sounds with Japanese traditional instruments. Topped off with shared vocal duties, the resulting music entices the listeners into a ritual translunary land all of its own.

FARIDA is a hard-hitting outfit generating spiritual noise, primal psychedelia and rhytmic monotones wrapped up in the emotional power of Jenny Faridas dark and suggestive vocal expression. Since 2014 backed up by members from krautband Audionom, FARIDA quickly made a name for themselves in the Stockholm underground live scene,“Shoot” is out on spotify and will be released on vinyl together with new track “Last Waltz”in May.
