By now, many already know that Dead Express is synonymous with intensity, sweat, and uncompromising rock ’n’ roll. On September 18, the band releases its new album, Almost Forever – another chapter in their dedicated pursuit of the perfect, fully realized record without a single wasted second. Almost Forever is Dead Express’ fifth full-length album since their 2017 debut, Bloodsucking Queen, and their most transformative release to date. It also marks the band’s first album with their phenomenal new frontman, Marcus Rylander, leading the charge.

The band’s sound continues to evolve in the tradition they established early on, blending the influence of heroes like The Hellacopters and Gluecifer with elements of the legendary Detroit rock scene, along with the occasional nod to AC/DC.

Dead Express may not be a household name, but they have earned a reputation as one of Sweden’s most reliable live bands for discerning rock audiences. Their music is still driven by raw energy, spontaneity, suffering, and desire. Today, the band stands more confident and grounded than ever without sacrificing the playful punk spirit that has always defined them.

They say rock ’n’ roll can never die. And if it ever does, Dead Express proves that it will, at the very least, live Almost Forever.
