Electrifying Swedish rock outfit ÅSKVÄDER delivers a high-voltage blend of blues-infused melodic rock, fusing raw nostalgia with a modern edge. Their sound is rooted in the spirit of the ’90s Scandinavian rock scene, driven by scorching riffs, bluesy leads, and shimmering harmonies. Thunderous drums and a grooving bass foundation collide with catchy pop hooks and gritty guitars, creating a powerful, no-frills rock experience. True to their name—Swedish for “thunderstorm”—ÅSKVÄDER brings an explosive force of pure Rock ’n’ Roll.

While drawing inspiration from iconic acts like The Hellacopters and Turbonegro, ÅSKVÄDER carves out a distinct identity, crafting a sound that feels both familiar and forward-looking.

Formed on Sweden’s west coast, the band released their debut EP Quick Fixes in 2018. In 2020, they teamed up with The Sign Records for their self-titled debut album. Their second full-length release, Fenix, followed in 2022, and in fall 2023 they dropped the EP Electric Tide. In 2025, charismatic frontwoman Saga Flygare Täll joined as lead vocalist and guitarist, marking a new chapter for the band. A third full-length album is set for release in 2026 in collaboration with Icons Creating Evil Art.

Known for their electrifying live performances, ÅSKVÄDER has toured extensively across Scandinavia, Spain, and Germany, leaving a lasting impression on audiences everywhere.

Today, ÅSKVÄDER consists of Lucas Monryd (bass), Tim Ferm (drums), Saga Flygare Täll (lead vocals and guitar), and Martin Gut (lead guitar). Keep an eye out—the storm continues in 2026.

Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, The Empire Strikes is a five piece rock group, completely dedicated to ambitious songwriting and delivering energetic, sweaty live shows since 2012.

The Empire Strikes has toured all the way from the Baltics and cold Nordics to the heat of Iberia and central European metropolises. This far hundreds of shows in at least 71 different cities. Headlining on the road or providing support in Finland for such household names as Royal Republic, The Nomads, Dirty Honey, Michael Monroe, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons and The Flaming Sideburns just to name a few.

The previous four albums “1983”, “High Tide”, “Charm” and “Motell Scandinavia” have all aimed to portray the tricks learned on the road. Each and every album has been recorded live in studio and boldly reimagined the band’s musical expression.
